I turn to see you smile,
and like a bolt of lightning,
it sets my heart aflame.
Fire courses through my veins,
setting my nerves tingling,
and taking my breath away.
The room spins around me,
hurtling into the unknown,
nothing makes sense anymore.
As your lips brush mine,
feelings I’d almost forgot,
come back from the grave.
