Cyber Children

We were the children of the cyber age,
Meeting in a place without walls,
Smiling with unseen faces,
Words without a sound.

We were the children of the modern age,
Meeting face to face,
Surprised to see underneath digital masks,
Words making beautiful sounds.

We were the children of the new age,
Seeking all the answers,
Science can never comprehend,
But only a lover’s tender touch.

We were the children of the magic age,
Who left it all behind,
Going into the new dawn,
Exploring it all together.

We were the children of the dark age,
Losing it all one night,
Turning the bright future,
Into the saddest past.
